Rich Rosario used to be a pretty funny guy. Used to be. One day, three years ago at Boston College Rich's life changed forever. He was on his way to class and stepped ever so kindly into the elevators on his way to class. He pressed the button for the 4th floor and then suddenly threw his entire body in front of the door to hold it for a beautiful young lady. I mean seriously, that's a damn nice thing to do. What a guy! The appreciative girl said thank you, and then pressed the button for the 2nd floor. THE 2ND FLOOR! Who the hell does that? Really? I mean how lazy is this girl that she is taking the elevator one damn flight? She doesn't have a disability or anything heavy in her hands!? In a bold and unnecessary verbal lashing, Rich didn't hesitate to call her out on it. He called her a "soulless bitch" who couldn't "walk her lazy ass up a few stairs". He then went on to say, "Yo momma". Yea, it was a little harsh, but he felt she deserved it.
So back to the original question, why did Rich "used" to be funny?
Well, it turns out the girl had a prosthetic leg as a result of a tragic elevator accident she had at the age of 6. Coincidentally, the girl was adopted and never had a mother. What are the chances? Rich felt really bad about the whole thing and decided to take a vow of silence for the rest of his life. Really, he did….I swear.
